Choice marked a significant milestone at its Bangor sheltered living scheme celebrating 45 years of Tughan Court located on the Bloomfield Road.
Choice staff joined tenants to mark the occasion, including Lilly Fleming who has been at Tughan Court for 33 years and looks forward to celebrating her 100th birthday early in the new year.
The scheme, which recently saw an investment of £300K from Choice as part of their upgrade commitments, was originally opened in November 1980. Located on the Bloomfield Road, Tughan Court is closely connected to many local amenities, ensuring residents maintain their independence through accessing shops, healthcare services and other facilities that can also encourage interaction and social engagement outside of the scheme.

Tughan Court comprises of 42 one-bedroom bungalows alongside 1 one-bedroom apartment, designed to provide independent living for those aged 60 and over with support available when needed.
