The 2022 awards, in their 26th year, will be celebrated during a lunchtime ceremony in Manchester.
The awards showcase the very best of UK housing and organisations that are delivering high-quality homes and services in partnership with the communities they serve. During these challenging times it’s more important than ever to identify and share learning about innovative and showcase exceptional work that is helping to deliver decent, affordable housing and transforming people’s lives.
The prestigious landlord of the Year category recognises organisations that have gone above and beyond and had a positive impact on the lives of people and their communities.
Food and energy bills are surging at their fastest rate in almost a decade, fueling concerns that struggling families face a choice between eating and heating. It is anticipated that households will be paying over £700 extra per year on gas and electricity. As a result, Choice has and continues to deliver a range of vital support services to our tenants, with a focus on financial management and sustainable tenancies.
Choice offers housing throughout Northern Ireland, providing over 11,000 homes. With over 40,000 people requiring housing assistance in N.I, there is a growing need for sustainable housing that offers tenants the chance of living independently, along with the provision of social and financial support.
