Jeanette McLaughlin, Scheme Co-Ordinator at Mill Court in Belfast has raised £300 for our chosen charities, Air Ambulance and The Cancer Fund for Children.
Along with her husband, Jeanette took on Slieve Donard at the end of May. This was Jeanette’s first attempt to climb Slieve Donard, but she certainly didn’t shy away from the huge challenge. Anyone who has completed the climb will know the route is 5.8 miles in total and takes approx. 4-5 hours to complete. It’s classed as a medium challenge, as it requires a good level of fitness.
Jeanette’s target was £100 and with fantastic support from staff and friends she completely smashed it and raised £300! Jeanette is no stranger to the fundraising activities at Choice, having taken part in the marathon in 2021, her efforts are an inspiration to us all.
Well done Jeanette!
