Choice Housing has appointed GEDA Construction, a leading Building, Civil Engineering and Property Development Company to complete a £1.75 million overhaul refurbishment of James Court Sheltered Living Scheme in North Belfast.
The Dungannon based company who have projects across the UK and Ireland will begin work onsite December 2019 and the project is estimated to take a total of 18 months.
The North Belfast Scheme comprises of 54 one and two bedroom apartments. Built in 1980, the renovations will ensure a continued high standard of living for residents, which will include new kitchens and bathrooms, as well as, internal decoration and flooring. Fire Safety measures and re-wiring of the building will also ensure continued safety regulations are complied with.

James Court, Kansas Avenue is located close to a range of local amenities, allowing residents to live independently while safe in the knowledge there is support and security if they need it.
