Choice are pleased to be able to announce the new electricity supplier for our offices and the communal or landlord areas of some of our housing schemes.
Following a tendering process Budget Energy have been appointed as our new electricity supplier for a 12 month period.
This new contract is expected to result in savings of around £64,000, when compared to average or market electricity prices, with savings passed to tenants at schemes where these electricity costs apply through a service charge.
Earlier this year Choice also held a tender process to appoint a natural gas supplier for schemes with communal or landlord natural gas heating. Flogas were appointed for two years and the anticipated annual savings from this contract are expected to be around £26,000. These savings will also be passed on to tenants at schemes where these charges apply.
