Choice is one of the largest 'profit for a purpose' Housing Association in Northern Ireland and one of the leading social enterprises on the island. We currently serve over 11,000 households and work in partnership with government and like-minded organisations to tackle housing need.

The Group now seeks to appoint 3 apprentices within Choice Services, to help establish and grow our new direct service organisation, the first of its kind in Northern Ireland. Operating as a wholly owned subsidiary, Choice Services will initially focus on the provision of response repair services to a third of our stock, based largely in the Greater Belfast area. The objective is to deliver enhanced customer satisfaction and to drive better value for money for our stakeholders.

40 hours per week including attendance at college

The salary will be based on age: £4.90 per hour for under 18; £5.90 per hour for 18 to 20 years; £7.38 per hour for 21-24 years.

Essential Criteria:-

• Understanding of good customer service

• Ability to travel to and from your place of work (Store, office, meeting point etc)

• Applicants should be physically fit, not afraid of working at heights or confined spaces

• Applicants must be between 16-24 years

• Applicants should have 2 grade C’s or above in English and Maths.

• The Electrician apprentice should also not have any colour vision deficiency because of the nature of the work
