At Choice we are focused on enriching lives. As a housing association this is embedded in our culture and each staff member plays their part. Outside of their every day work our staff run a very active and successful fundraising committee.

Last year one of the Choice nominated charities to benefit from the hard work of our fundraising committee was Northern Ireland Hospice. Our committee were extremely proud to present NI Hospice with a donation of £4,180.  Our staff raised this money though a range of events from Choice Does Strictly to Dress DownFridays, We are currently facing a crisis unlike any other and we are all dealing with significant challenges due to Covid-19.The impact of the virus on the Hospice is serious.  The nurses, doctors, social workers, cleaners and the whole team are working incredibly hard to support patients with life limiting illnesses.

Now more than ever our communities need charities like NI Hospice and we are humbled to have contributed towards their efforts.

Tracy Bell, Supporter Care Supervisor at NI Hospice thanked Choice staff for their generous donation: “At NI Hospice we never take a donation for granted. The demand for Hospice care continues and sadly many more people will need our help in the coming months. Your donation will help provide the best quality care to people who are terminally-ill now and in the future”.
